Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Jakarta (Jakarta State University)

Abstract

Digital Literacy is a continuation of the independent learning program during the era of Nadim Makariem^s &#8203-&#8203-leadership as Minister of Education in Indonesia. Literacy and numeracy are explained in detail in various strategic policies in the independent learning program. This research was conducted qualitatively in which information was gathered from the head of the association of principals of East Jakarta Private Elementary Schools at the city level and the opinion of the head of the sub-district level, interestingly the two informants had different backgrounds, including principals who indicated Millennials and one colonial school principal. From these two points of view, there are two different perspectives, some of which mean that some consider digital literacy programs to be considered not too urgent, some are struggling to keep pace with the times, some are mediocre because they are used to dealing with technological devices. However, the authors argue that literacy in the digital space is a necessity that must be adapted to the educational climate in Indonesia. Literacy will advance the quality of education for students and teachers.

Abstract

The role of the principal is very important in improving teacher performance. Good or bad teacher performance cannot be separated from the role of the school principal. The purpose of this study was to describe the leadership role of school principals to improve teacher performance in Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) institutional units. The method used is descriptive qualitative research. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the leadership role of the principal as educator, manager, and supervisor is very important. However, in Kartika VII-8 Kindergarten the implementation was not optimal. This is due to a lack of knowledge about managerial and supervision as well as the age factor. Besides that, the support from the Foundation is also very influential.

Abstract

This research was conducted to develop an ICT-based collaboration platform that could be used as a guideline by each stakeholder in the making of Individualized Education Program (IEP) in inclusive schools. The making of IEP requires multi-disciplinary collaboration between teachers and experts as well as parents to work together in a team. However, collaboration encounters many obstacles because there is no collaboration model that can be used as a reference and a structured system to differentiate the responsibilities of each stakeholder. This collaboration platform represents a continuous workflow that outlines the roles and responsibilities of teachers, special education teachers, parents, and experts- the form of collaboration carried out in the arrangement of IEP by considering three categories namely collaboration (1) between teachers (2) teachers and parents (3) teachers and experts- as well as the design of an ICT and data-based collaboration platform that can assist in decision making in the arrangement of IEP.

Abstract

There is the quality of some schools that are less likely to accommodate the next many students There is a lack of SDM quality in the administrative department caused its delay in the management of the admission of new students. There is also no equal number of students in each school due to the difference in the number of inhabitants between the one area and the other, the less adequate facility for the student group that exceeds the capacity or capacity of the school. In addition, the problem that often occurs is the presence of pungli activities carried out by oknum -oknum certain which is the use of authority and is included in the violation of the law, then there is a complicated registration system that must use technology, which is due to its many students make a system error due to the many that open the system of registration, then the minimum government to socialize to the public about PPDB zonation and the lack of transparency done by the government regarding the quota of each - each schoolIn the writing of this article more emphasized on the assessment or observation that uses the qualitative system of the library which is taken from the research writings - research that has been done by many researchers - other researchers. This research uses materials from research that has ever been conducted and researched by researchers already existing in each region - the area that is in Indonesia, by studying it either through existing journals - journaux or even through books - books that discuss the system of acceptance of new students using the zonation system. In this study, using a research system with a qualitative library, where research is carried out through journals - existing magazines and books - books that have already been written, where in doing so by reading magazins and books existing then draw conclusions from those that have been studied, the difference from the initiation and methods that have ever been in detail is where the researcher uses research research that has already been done that comes from different areas so that they can get different conclusions and means. According to the law, the zonalization of the PPDB system in Indonesia represents the most important digital strategy of the current generation. This is because such policies can make it easier for the general public to access educational programs and maintain transparency, accountability, and cohesion. However, the PPDB zonal system in Indonesia has not been fully implemented, which makes the achievement of policy objectives increasingly difficult. In the organization of the Government in issuing policies or regulations should review first the conditions of the school - schools existing throughout the territory the Government should do the improvement of the capacity of SDM si all Educational Institutions through training or seminars so that the educators can follow the system established by the government then Review the rate of growth in each region so that in the acceptance of new participants with the unity of the zonation system can take place well and not harm society.

Teacher performance is needed in teaching in order to achieve educational targets and goals properly. The task of a teacher who is not suitable between work and expertise will affect the achievement of his performance. If teachers are given assignments that are not in accordance with their expertise, it can result in a decrease in the quality of their work and the way they work, it will also cause a feeling of dissatisfaction. As happened in Special Schools (SLB) BL, the placement of teachers who are not in accordance with their work and expertise affects the development of students so that educational goals cannot be achieved properly.
In this situation, the involvement of the school principal as a supervisor is required to assist teachers professionally, apart from acting as an educational consultant, the principal also becomes a teacher assistant to improve the quality of school education as well as performance.
