School readiness analysis in implementing merdeka curriculum in senor high school Seftira Margi Saesaputri (a*), Mutia Delina (b), Siti Zulaikha (b)

Abstract
The Corona Virus Disease (COVID)19 outbreak caused learning loss. The Ministry of Education and Culture launched a policy in 2022 regarding the implementation of the independent curriculum. However, not all schools are ready to implement the independent curriculum. Therefore, this study aims to describe the school^s readiness to implement an independent curriculum, especially in the planning of the curriculum field at Senior high school in Bekasi. This research is a qualitative method with a narrative approach to the vice principal of curriculum through interviews. The results of the interview with the vice principal of curriculum showed that the most important readiness are: (1) careful planning related to the allocation of hours for the learning process both teaching and learning activities (KBM) and allocations for the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), changes in the structure of the class X curriculum by making subject packages (2) Readiness in the learning process by teachers, this is supported by providing socialization about P5 and teaching tools used by teachers must be in accordance with the needs of students, namely according to their interests and talents.
