Abstract
The situation analysis conducted together with Sukagalih Special School (SLB) revealed that the need for information regarding dental and oral health is quite high. The problems currently faced by partners related to dental and oral health are the condition of children with special needs who require information that is easy to accept, knowing the health condition of students through examinations, direct demonstrations regarding efforts to improve dental and oral health, and the provision of interactive media in the form of videos on how to maintain dental and oral health. Based on these problems, the solutions and output targets that will be carried out in efforts to improve dental and oral health include examinations, counseling, and demonstrations on how to maintain dental and oral health, as well as the provision of supporting media needed in the form of interactive video media on dental and oral hygiene. The methods that will be used vary from providing interactive materials, demonstrations, showing videos, and practice. At the end of this activity, it is expected that students will be more interested and know how to improve their dental and oral health by watching videos regularly. This community service program generally went smoothly, receiving positive responses from students, parents of students and teachers. The results of the dental and oral health examination obtained data that most students had caries, had plaque, had calculus and had gingivitis. During the activity of providing counseling materials, students followed with good concentration, as evidenced by the question session, almost all students scrambled to answer questions. During the demonstration and implementation of how to brush teeth, all students were able to follow along well. There needs to be socialization and promotion regarding the existence of this PKM program beforehand to the parents of students, so that parents can condition their children so that they are not afraid to come to have their dental and oral health checked.

Abstract
Students and administrators of the Baitur Rohman Islamic Boarding School sometimes practice open defecation. This has an impact on physical and mental health. Health education is an important thing, but it has never been done here. Educational efforts are often hampered by limited accessibility, making it difficult for some of the population to reach conventional health programs. The Baitur Rohman Islamic Boarding School has limited technology availability. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the hybrid education method regarding the relationship between open defecation and mental health at the Baitur Rohman Islamic Boarding School. The research uses a pre-experimental design through a one-group pre-test post-test design approach. The research was carried out at the Baitur Rohman Islamic Boarding School in August 2024. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The measuring tool in this study uses a list of statements about the relationship between open defecation and mental health. The activity consisted of filling out the pre-test, education via Zoom, and post-test. Data analysis uses a paired t-test. Respondents were 55 people. There was an increase in the average score of 0.25 (M value) after the education. The result of the t-test was 1.07 with a p-value of 0.14494 (p > 0.05) which showed that the difference was not statistically significant at the 95% confidence level (p < 0.05). Although there are slight differences, it is not significant enough to conclude that knowledge improvement through hybrid education methods is possible. Research on the effectiveness of hybrid methods is still rare.

Abstract
The Community Services (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) is conducted in Cisaat Village, Pangauban Subdistrict, Pacet District. Most of the residents have completed education up to junior high school. Based on surveys and interviews with the residents of Kampung Cisaat, issues related to environmental conditions and cleanliness were identified. In Kampung Cisaat, there are still many practices of disposing of human waste directly into ponds or other water sources without using septic tanks, known as open defecation. This habit becomes a complex problem with many interrelated factors, including low knowledge about hygiene and health, as well as low economic levels among the residents. Regarding these issues, the community service team from FK Unisba has provided education in Kampung Cisaat about cleanliness, sanitation, and waste management to the ^sanitation committee^ to ensure that public sanitation facilities can be used safely and comfortably. The team also formed community working groups to advocate and monitor the implementation of cleanliness and sanitation in their environment, and the team also gathered financial resources and working groups in order to build community septic tank facilities.

Abstract
Background: Speech and language delays are a condition where a child^s speech ability is lagging behind compared to the average speech ability of children of the same age. This condition causes many parents to take their children to the doctor. During the school years, a child with speech and language delays may experience difficulties writing, reading, and learning. In adulthood problems can arise at work. The initial management of children with speech and language delays is determined by when the parents take their children to a health facility because the child is late in speaking. Parental knowledge about early detection of speech and language delays is important so that children receive early treatment and have wider opportunities to achieve progress in speech development. Research Objectives: This study aims to analyze the relationship between mother^s knowledge and child^s age with speech delays at the initial consultation.
Method: This research was an analytical observational study, conducted at the Medical Rehabilitation Polyclinic at Al-Islam Hospital Bandung, Al-Ihsan Regional Hospital, and Muhammadiyah Hospital. The research subjects were parents of child patients who came to the medical rehabilitation polyclinic at the three hospitals with complaints of speech delays. Data was obtained from questionnaires filled out by mothers who took their children for treatment to the Medical Rehabilitation Polyclinic from August to November 2022.
Results: Average knowledge score 49.14. The age at which the child with speech delay was first consulted was 27.72 months. The correlation test showed that there was no relationship between knowledge and the child^s age and speech delays at the initial consultation

Abstract
Background
Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) ranks as the sixth most common cancer in Indonesia. The majority of cases are diagnosed at an advanced stage, largely due to nonspecific early symptoms and delays in diagnosis. Persahabatan Hospital serves as a national referral center for respiratory cases and cancer cases as well. Majority of the patients use national health insurance program. This study aimed to assess data related to NPC in this single referral hospital.
Methods
A retrospective cohort study was performed including 66 NPC patients with complete records diagnosed and treated between 2019 and 2022 in Persahabatan General Hospital, Jakarta. The prognostic impact of age, gender, education level, stadium, body mass index, were evaluated using Kaplan-Meier analysis.
Result
Most NPC patients were male (74.2%), under 50 years old (56.1%), and had a secondary education level (90.9%). A significant portion (39.4%) had a normal body mass index. The preferred treatment strategy was neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by chemoradiation (57.6%). A three-year survival analysis by Kaplan Meier revealed higher survival rates for stage IV patients and those without anemia, with anemia present in 71.2% of patients. Key laboratory findings included mean hemoglobin, leukocyte, and platelet levels of 10.9 g/dL, 10.716/microL, and 370.000/microL, respectively, alongside average platelet-to-hemoglobin ratio (0.0495), neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (14.922), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (60.19), and lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (1.714), indicating their relevance to survival outcomes.
Conclusion
Frequently, NPC patients experienced anemia, which can impact their survival outcomes. Early correction of anemia and effective chemotherapy strategies are critical in improving patient prognosis. Further prospective studies are needed to evaluate causative of anemia in managing this potentially curable malignancy.

2. Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Islam Bandung
Abstract
Patient delay in seeking healthcare is a persistent problem that can lead to delayed diagnosis and suboptimal treatment outcomes. This study was aimed to compare the results of four subscribed AIs (ChatGPT, Jenni, Copilot, and Scopus AI) in identifying the causes of patient delay among tuberculosis patients and their quality in answering the question prompts. The qualitative study was conducted involving the in-depth interviews by the standardized prompts (in Bahasa) with four AI as the informants. The matrix of AI answers was created to analyse the answers of each AI for resemblances or differences. All AI agree that stigma and access to the health service are the cause of the patient delay, followed by socio-economic status that appear in majority AI. ChatGPT provides abundant answers for every prompt with vast language fluency compared to Jenni that gives the briefest and mixed-language answers. Copilot and Jenni give direct address to the reference they give although the first one gives more references compared to the later. Finally, the Scopus AI excelled with concise and expandable answers, suggested deeper prompts, references, concept maps, and emerging themes for the next research topics that we can use. In conclusion, Scopus AI is the most effective AI in this study that can significantly enhance research and streamline bibliometric analysis.

Abstract
Background: The current transformation of the health resilience system emphasizes preparedness and response to infectious disease epidemics and pandemics. The COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated the vulnerability of health care facilities to patient surges, necessitating the need for tools that can measure the risk of disease transmission and population vulnerability in health care facilities. This study aims to summarize the profile of risk assessment tools needed to inform COVID-19 control in healthcare facilities.
Methods: An online search across multiple databases and online sources was conducted to identify all epidemic risk and vulnerability assessment tools. Medline/PubMed, Web of Science databases, and websites of public health organizations were used for the search process.
Results: Ten COVID-19-related tools were identified, mostly designed to be applied at national and global levels. Key domains that were often the focus included Governance and Regulation, Financing, Health Service Delivery, and Human Resources. However, some tools pay insufficient attention to important issues such as detection and surveillance, laboratory capacity or community capacity in disease detection and control. Each toolkit has limitations in coverage such as only in the health sector, requiring specific, extensive and complex data, lacking detail in guidance on mitigating each threat so that an approach that integrates several tools can provide more holistic and effective results for risk mitigation.
Conclusion: Only five tools were used in the COVID-19 study. This study provides a summary of risk assessment tools to inform epidemic response. We recommend global and national efforts in developing more contextualized and epidemic-responsive epidemics, incorporating disease- and country-specific factors to inform operational decision-making and strengthen country capacity in epidemic response.

Abstract
Jatisari is one of the sub-districts located within the Buahbatu District of Bandung City, situated on the border of the City and Bandung Regency, covering an area of approximately 208 hectares. There is an issue based on data from the Bandung City Health Office indicating that Buah Batu is the second-lowest sub-district in terms of elderly healthcare service coverage (42.38%) after Kiaracondong Sub-district (32.57%). Common diseases affecting the elderly generally include metabolic syndrome. The purpose of presenting this data is to understand the metabolic health profile of the elderly community in RW 05 Jatisari and to identify the risk of developing metabolic syndrome. We plan to implement a comprehensive series of interventions based on behavioral change models, promoting healthy dietary patterns in accordance with the Quran, Surah Al-Araf, verse 31, and practicing intermittent fasting.
The methodology includes mass screening of approximately 50 residents in RW 05, comprising 10 cadres and 40 residents aged between 46 to 78 years. Several indicators of metabolic syndrome were identified through anthropometric measurements, waist circumference, blood pressure measurements, blood sugar levels, and cholesterol levels of the 50 residents. The results are presented in the form of frequency tabulation.
The results of this community service program indicate that 30 out of 50 residents (60%) examined show signs of suspected metabolic syndrome, with at least high blood sugar levels (> 130 mg/dl) accompanied by hypertension and cholesterol levels above the recommended average. The Body Mass Index (BMI) measurements reveal an average BMI of 26.23, with the lowest and highest BMI being 17.4 and 35, respectively, within the elderly community, while the average BMI of the cadres is 28.22. The average blood sugar and cholesterol levels are recorded at 126.52 mg/dl and 200.18 mg/dl, respectively. It can be concluded that the metabolic health profile of the elderly community in RW 05 indicates a tendency toward metabolic syndrome in 60% of its residents. Metabolic syndrome is characterized by impaired glucose regulation or diabetes, insulin resistance, hypertension, dyslipidemia (triglyceride levels > 150 mg/dL and/or HDL-C cholesterol < 35, men: waist-to-hip ratio > 0.90- women: waist-to-hip ratio > 0.85), and/or body mass index (BMI) > 30 kg/m2.

The design of this study uses an analytical observational method with a cross-sectional approach. The subjects of this study are health workers at Puskesmas Kalangsari, Karawang Regency in 2022, namely 30 respondents who were selected through a total sampling technique using the Slovin formula. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The result showed that religiosity affects the performance of health workers positively and significantly with a total influence of 61.8%. Motivation affects the performance of health workers positively and significantly with a total influence of 34.6%. Religiosity and motivation simultaneously affected the performance of health workers with a total influence of 96.3%. This can be explained as follows, health workers who have high Islmaic religiosity tend to be motivated by the spiritual values of Islam, which encourage dedication, work ethics and better stress management.. All these factors contribute to improving the performance of health workers at the Health Center.

The Effectiveness of Islamic Spiritual Counseling on Dialysis Patients (A Study at Dustira Military Hospital Cimahi) Rudy Dwi Laksono, Esah Siti Aisyah, Ana Rosyana, Ike Junita Triwardhani
Magister Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Islam Bandung
Abstract
This study explores the influence of Islamic spiritual counseling on anxiety levels and the quality of life of patients undergoing hemodialysis. Hemodialysis patients often face significant physical and psychological burdens, including anxiety, stress, and a diminished quality of life due to the chronic nature of kidney failure and frequent treatments. Islamic spiritual counseling provides a faith-based approach, incorporating Islamic teachings, values, and spiritual practices to offer emotional and psychological support. By addressing spiritual needs and enhancing coping mechanisms through religious guidance, this form of counseling aims to reduce anxiety levels and foster an improved outlook on life among patients. The study applies a qualitative approach to evaluate the effectiveness of Islamic spiritual counseling in alleviating anxiety and enhancing the quality of life. Participants include patients undergoing hemodialysis who have experienced counseling sessions centered on spiritual support and religious encouragement tailored to their individual needs. Findings indicate a reduction in anxiety levels, greater emotional stability, and a notable improvement in perceived quality of life among patients who engage in consistent spiritual counseling sessions. These outcomes demonstrate that integrating religious and spiritual elements into patient care can offer a holistic approach to addressing the psychological and emotional challenges faced by hemodialysis patients. This research highlights the potential of Islamic spiritual counseling as a complementary method within healthcare settings to improve overall patient well-being and to address the psychosocial dimensions of chronic illness, ultimately contributing to better patient outcomes and quality of life.

Faculty of Medicine, UNISBA
Abstract
Introduction
This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of an azo dye carmoisine-namely red congo fabric coloring, that widely used in industrial food manufacturing in Indonesia mostly, that might be seen as changes in peripheral blood smear morphology.
Method
Red congo coloring administered into a group of 28 mice orally treated with four different doses as control, low, medium, and high equivalent to 0, 190, 375, and 750 mg/kg of bw, respectively, for 59 days.
After 59 days of treatment, blood smear then made from mice tail and analyzed under light microscope.
Results
Of 28 mice, all mice showed no differences in lymphocytes count and morphology. All mice showed atypical hypersegmented lymphocytes. There were changes in red blood cells (RBCs) morphology in mice group treated with red congo coloring, with 10.7% showed anisopoikilocytosis with target cells, with 7% of those were in mice group treated with high dose of red congo food coloring. Around 85.7% of mice in both control and treatment groups showed normochromation in RBCs, 21.4% of mice in moderate to high dose treatment group showed polychromation.
Conclusion
In mice treatment groups, there were changes in RBCs morphology compared to control, without different changes seen in lymphocyte count and morphology compared to control.
