Abstract
The high prevalence of obesity among Indonesian adolescents, especially in West Bandung Regency, is a serious concern in public health efforts. This community service project aims to educate students at SMAN 1 Padalarang on the importance of a healthy lifestyle as an effort to prevent obesity. Through the program ^Transforming Healthy Lifestyle: Peer Educator Training on Obesity Prevention,^ this initiative focuses on increasing knowledge of nutrition, physical activity, and empowering peer educators to disseminate health information. The training was conducted in October 2024, involving 256 tenth-grade students. The methodology consists of several stages: administrative preparation and coordination, a pre-test, counseling on balanced nutrition, the dangers of fast food, the importance of exercise, and communication training for peer educators. Students were then provided with a practical guide in the form of a pocketbook. Evaluation was carried out through post-tests and assessments of students^ communication skills. This program successfully improved students^ understanding of healthy lifestyle habits and encouraged them to become change agents who can positively influence their peers. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of training in reducing obesity risk among adolescents through education and communication skills.
