Abstract
Assessment is an important part of the learning process because it can measure student learning outcomes. This study analyzes the development of an assessment instrument for physics education in Indonesia from 2012-2022. There are 539 scientific publications taken from the Scopus database to be analyzed using bibliometric methods and graphical visualization using the VOSviewer application. The results show that Indonesia^s trend of assessment instrument research experienced the highest increase in 2019. Researchers tend to publish their scientific works through conference papers (85.5% or n = 461), while journal articles are only (15% or n = 78). The three main focuses related to assessment instrument research are student, physics, and computational education. The implications of the research supported by the latest research can be the basis for developing physical education research, especially assessment instruments in Indonesia.
