Analysis of Students Cognitive and Interest on Chemical Bonding Subject Based on E-Learning Mobile Media

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of android-based chemical bonding learning application on students interest and learning achievement in chemical bonding material. The mobile learning media used in this study is the result of development using Smart Apps Creator (SAC) software. This chemical bond learning application (hereinafter referred to as APIK) has been validated by material experts, media experts, and has passed limited tests and field tests. The result of this research is that there is an increase in the average value of students on chemical bonding material after using APIK media. The average pretest score is 45.970 and the posttest average is 70.420 with an N-gain score of 0.453. The conclusion is APIK product has moderate effectiveness in the learning process, it can be seen by the increase in posttest scores and increase in student learning interest scores from 54,417 which were included in the sufficient category to 60,111 which were included in the interested category.
