Abstract
Indonesia is a tropical country with two distinct seasons: dry and wet. However, due to present global warming, season in Indonesia is becoming more difficult to forecast, with frequent abrupt changes in weather from hot to wet or vice versa, which is disrupting human existence, including tasks such as drying clothes. Automation technology is advancing in all industries in today is modern day, including industry, education, health, security, and others, where all tools or tasks are connected to the internet, also known as the Internet of Things (IoT). In response to the problems and advancements in industrial technology today, a clothes dryer was created that made use of IoT. The Blynk application makes it easier for humans to control dryer clothes using a smartphone. The working principle of this tool based on LDR sensor and a rain sensor. The LDR sensor will detect light intensity and provide light or dark information, whereas the rain sensor will detect rainwater and provide dry or rain information when it is dry and rain when it is raining. Following that, the data was transferred to a smartphone. Users can view the weather and conditions in the Blynk app and send a command to be executed.
