A QUALITATIVE DESCRIPTIVE STUDY ON THE FACTORS OF TEACHER PERFORMANCE IN SURAKARTA Educational Science, Universitas Sebelas Maret Abstract This study aims to identify and analyze various factors influencing teacher performance in educational foundations in Surakarta as a basis for developing a model for improving teacher performance. Teacher performance is one of the main indicators of successful learning- however, in practice, it is influenced by various internal and external aspects. Therefore, this preliminary study focuses on exploring factors that contribute to teacher performance, particularly pedagogical competence, professional commitment, and other supporting factors within the educational environment.
