Figure of merit dependence of spin states in bilayer zigzag graphene nanoribbons Universitas Negeri Jakarta Abstract We examined how the spin states influence the figures of merit in an AB-stacked bilayer zigzag edge graphene nanoribbons. To begin, we determined the electronic structures through first-principles calculations, capturing the total energies of both spin states. In our analysis, the antiferromagnetic orders for the collinear alignment have been used. Then, we applied Boltzmann transport theory to evaluate the figures of merit separately for the spin-up and spin-down channels after obtaining the electronic structure. Our results revealed that each spin state contributes insignificantly to the peaks of the figure of merit near the Fermi level, indicating that no dominant contribution of each spin channel is available.
