Abstract
Conventional and Sharia banks in Indonesia have different potential bankruptcy risks. This research aims to examine the potential bankruptcy risks in the Indonesian banking sector, with a focus on the comparison between Sharia and conventional banks. The study adopts a literature review approach by comparing the financial ratios of both types of banks. The research results are expected to provide an understanding of the differences in bankruptcy risk characteristics between Sharia and conventional banks in Indonesia. This will provide a foundation for regulators, bank management, and other stakeholders to take appropriate steps in mitigating bankruptcy risks, including the implementation of green economic strategies.
