Abstract

The value of human resources in assuring a company^s performance is becoming increasingly crucial as the unpredictable nature and complexity of business environments increase. Effective management of people inside a company has historically been a responsibility of human resource management. Aligning human efforts with corporate goals is becoming more and more important in todays changing business environment. Considering this, several human resource management (HCM) and talent management (TM) concepts and methodologies have arisen. As there is overlap in the definitions of these ideas and the unifying subject of these concepts is attaining organizational goals via people, there is a significant deal of uncertainty regarding their nature, scope, and applicability. These HR practitioners, HR managers, and business strategists struggle to confidently implement these principles. There is also the issue of whether these ideas are inclusive or exclusive of one another. The primary goal of this essay is to investigate the nature, application, and significance of the concepts of talent management (TM) and human capital management (HCM) in organizational contexts. An exhaustive examination of the literature led to the creation of this report by identifying and resolving any possible areas of doubt in these concepts it is hoped that this study will be able to define their functional nature, scope, relevance, and applicability. The results of this study will give this ideas use in an organizational setting a clear direction.
