Abstract

The MERDEKA Curriculum is a learning curriculum implemented in Indonesia for elementary until higher education. This application also applies to higher education implementing a distance learning environment system. This research is a research on the development of a measuring instrument for distance education learning environment assessment instruments with an online platform in higher education according to the MERDEKA curriculum in Indonesia, which was modified from the DELES ^Distance Education Learning Environments Survey^ measuring tool (Walker & Barry, 2005). Distance learning with online platforms in higher education, according to the MERDEKA curriculum, is student-centered learning that is carried out independently with tutors as facilitators in answering student questions through online media and providing challenges to students to be able to develop innovation, personality, and independence in discovering new knowledge and solving real problems, self-management, collaboration, and achieving the desired target. It is hoped that this measuring instrument can become the basis for assessing Indonesian universities^ distance learning environment system in the MERDEKA curriculum.
