Abstract
Parental participation in schools is one of the things that cannot be ignored to improve and advance the quality of education. The purpose of this study is to describe the level of community participation in education at Cibeusi and Jatinango State Elementary Schools (SDN). This research used a qualitative method which involved collecting data through interviews, observations, document studies or other relevant data collection. It is hoped that this research will lead to greater efforts in improving parental participation in schools. This can be done through increasing parents^ understanding of their role in their children^s education, improving communication between schools and communities, and providing the necessary training and support for parents to actively participate in education. The conclusion from this study is that community or parental participation in education at Cibeusi and Jatinango primary schools still has a place for improvement. With more active and sustainable participation from the community, it is hoped that children^s education can be improved in a comprehensive and quality manner.
