Abstract
The objective of this research to evaluate the impact of learning materials instruction using Augmented Reality-Based teaching materials in the Primary Years Programme on student^s academic progress towards self-directed learning. The research employes a mixed-method approach, a descriptive study to understand the relationship with perceived usage. The type of data that would help in identifying the development so far would be a mix of quantitative and qualitative data. Qualitative data collection would be useful to identify the solutions that are currently available and what impact it has made on the learning aspects. On the other hand, the quantitative data will be equally important to answer this research question. Furthermore, interview and observation data were untilized in the qualitative side. The two objectives of this study are to investigate the impact of correlation on participation in an asynchronous learning environment. Additionally, this study provides educators with empirical information and insights on upcoming developments in the application of Augmented Reality (AR) in classroom instruction, especially those related to instructional design. This study has important implications for student readiness for utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) technology, which is necessary for putting online learning into practice.
