Abstract
This study examines the readiness of teachers in Pardasuka District, Pringsewu Regency Lampung. This study aims to determine how the implementation of the school digitalization program on the perspective of teacher readiness in mastering Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the junior high school (SMP/ MTs) - senior high school (SMA / MA) level in the area. This study is an extension of previous research on the school digitalization program. A qualitative method with a descriptive approach was used as the research method in this study. The research object was based on 13 schools at the junior high school - senior high school level in Pardasuka District, Pringsewu Regency Lampung with interviews represented by 4 principals and 9 teachers. The results revealed that in preparing teachers who are ready for the digital transformation in education, this study found that teachers experienced two aspects of school digitization, namely digitization of educational information and digitization of learning. From these two aspects, it shows that in the Pardasuka area, teachers are ready to digitize educational information and digitize learning. However, there are still obstacles experienced by teachers in its implementation. The government here, especially the Ministry of Education and Culture as the leading in the field of education, needs to play an active role in optimizing the school digitization program. Because basically, the program will be implemented well when the obstacles that occur in the field can be handled properly so as to accelerate the teachers^ share in the successful implementation of the program.
