Abstract
This research aims to see the effect of using application-based interactive animated video media to increase the interest in learning science of second grade elementary school students. This study used an experimental research design to find out the effectiveness of the product developed. The population used in this study were second grade elementary school students in Jakarta who were then randomly sampled as many as 102 students. The data analysis approach in this study used the N-Gain Score test to test the hypothesis in this study. The conclusion of this study is clear that application-based interactive animated video media can provide significant changes or increase students^ interest in learning science. Application-based interactive animated video media is effective if used to increase students^ interest in learning. This study shows the N-Gain Score where the results are 98% where there is a relatively high change or significant change from before and after the use of the media. This study concludes that app-based interactive animated video media can increase the learning interest of fourth grade elementary school students. This research contributes to creating science learning that is cool and fun.
