Teacher Creativity Model for Improving the Quality of Primary School Learning

Abstract

The creativity of educators is needed to be able to help students develop their abilities and potential and develop the potential of students into competencies that have competitiveness. In accordance with the objectives of this study, namely- 1) to understand the learning outcomes in the independent curriculum, 2) build teacher awareness in mastering technology that supports learning, 3) know various models of learning creativity, 4) understand how teachers utilize media or multimedia technology, and 5) help students develop their potential. The research method used is a case study (Yin, 2005) using indepth interviews and documentation studies. The location of the research conducted was at SDIT Nurul Islam, with the subject of the teacher. The results of this study show that the form of creativity implemented by SD IT Nurul Islam teachers is to utilize various educational platforms, namely online interactive games, quizwhizzer, quizizz and snakes and ladders games or flashcards). Various models of learning creativity that are often implemented by SDIT Nurul Islam teachers include- 1) Project-Based Learning and Problem-Based Learning. Thus, the overall teacher creativity model greatly affects the quality of learning so that it can present a meaningful and enjoyable learning atmosphere through the use of media and multimedia technology.
