The Effectiveness of Boarding School and Full Day School Management on the Formation of Religious Character of Students in Integrated Islamic Senior High Schools

Abstract

This research aims to study the effectiveness of developing student^s in religius character at the boarding and full day Islamic high school . This research conducted s a qualitative method. The data was collected by interview. The data source comes from primary data by conducting direct interviews with 5 boarding school students and 5 full day school students. The results showed that 7 out of 10 students answered that it is more effective in developing student^s religious character than full-day Islamic school, because boarding school monitored 24 hours with habituation of attitudes, worship and existing regulations even though full day school students at every school there is habituation of worship, and 3 students answered that it also depends on their personality.
