The Effect of Facility and Infrastructure Management on Extracurricular Interest Faculty of Education, State University of Jakarta Abstract Facilities and Infrastructure Management is an important thing for schools to do. This is because the management of facilities and infrastructure affects the course of activities at school including extracurricular activities. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the management of facilities and infrastructure affects students^ interest in joining the extracurricular activities of their choice. This research is a qualitative research using a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study used instruments in the form of observation, interviews and documentation known as data triangulation. Interviews were conducted by questioning 1 Deputy of Facility and Infrastructure and 24 extracurricular leaders. The author then conducts a validity test by checking and comparing the three instruments to present the results and discussion of the answers to the formulation of this research problem. The last step is to make conclusions based on the results and discussions that have been made previously. The results of this study concluded that the management of facilities and infrastructure affects student interest in joining extracurricular activities. In other words, facilities and infrastructure that are managed properly and maximally will increase student interest in joining extracurricular activities, and vice versa. Therefore, it is important for schools to carry out the stages of planning, procurement, inventory, maintenance, and elimination in order to realize extracurricular facilities and infrastructure that are of high quality, adequate, and suitable for use by students.
