Inspiration of lifelong learning in traditional-based learning University of Anbar Abstract Innovative educational opportunities and contemporary studies about how to effectively build and conduct professional educational programs have emerged as a result of the widespread availability of educational technology and the expansion of the information society. Due to increased competition brought on by globalisation and the emergence of new competitors in the global educational arena, several countries have turned their attention to the production of enhanced, knowledge-based products and solutions in education. The promise of lifelong learning is a completely promising strategy, especially for the higher education institutions, with an emphasis on making traditional-based universities available to those who want to keep learning throughout their lives. Meanwhile, these educational systems and universities in particular, face a number of challenges, such as the effects of globalization, an ageing population, fiercer competition from both local and international institutions, and the rapid development of new technologies. While, the majority of experts think that conventional institutions need to undergo a radical transformation by adopting a culture of lifelong learning in order to effectively address all of these challenges, the implementation of this strategy will have a profound impact on higher education. To facilitate this shift, traditional-learning universities will need to craft strategies and policies that make use of flexible academic frameworks, innovative teaching methods, novel forms of assessment, and inter-institutional partnerships to attain the required results.
