Abstract

This article explores the utilization of literacy culture to optimize case method learning at Universitas Negeri Medan. Literacy culture plays a significant role in enhancing students^ critical thinking, analytical skills, and overall academic performance. By incorporating literacy practices and principles into case method pedagogy, this study aims to promote a dynamic and engaging learning environment that fosters active participation, collaboration, and deeper understanding among students. The article highlights the importance of integrating literacy activities such as reading, writing, discussion, and reflection within the context of case method learning. It discusses the benefits of incorporating diverse and authentic reading materials, encouraging students to analyze and interpret complex case scenarios, and promoting effective communication and presentation skills. Additionally, the article examines the role of technology in supporting literacy practices and facilitating access to digital resources for case analysis. Furthermore, the study explores the impact of implementing literacy culture in optimizing case method learning at Universitas Negeri Medan. It presents empirical evidence, including student feedback and academic performance data, to assess the effectiveness of the approach. The findings suggest that integrating literacy culture enhances students^ critical thinking abilities, problem-solving skills, and their ability to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios. The article concludes by emphasizing the importance of creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that values literacy culture and promotes active student engagement. It provides practical implications and recommendations for educators to incorporate literacy practices into case method teaching, thereby maximizing the educational benefits for students. Overall, this study contributes to the existing literature on the intersection of literacy culture and case method learning, specifically in the context of Universitas Negeri Medan. It sheds light on the potential of leveraging literacy culture to optimize student learning outcomes and prepares them for the challenges of the professional world. This research method is descriptive research. the purpose of this research is How is the Implementation of Literacy Culture in Optimizing the Case Learning Method at Medan State University, How is the influence of Literacy Culture in Optimizing Case Method Learning at Medan State University, How is the policy of implementing Literacy Culture in the Case Learning Optimization Method at Medan State University.
