Abstract

This study aims to: (1) produce a learning model that is feasible to use, easy to learn and can be used for learning (2) to determine the effectiveness of the E-learning based learning model. This type of research is development research that uses the Borg and Gall product development model and is combined with the Dick and Carey learning design model. This research was conducted on students of SMP Negeri 2 Siantar. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The research sample consisted of 64 students consisting of 32 students as an experimental class who were taught using the Project Citizen learning model based on E-learning and 32 students as a control class who were taught using the constructivism learning model. The results of the research hypothesis testing prove that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of PPKn students who are taught using the E-learning-based Project Citizen learning model and the learning outcomes of Civics taught using the Constructivism learning model. This is indicated by the acquisition of data, namely t_count = 2.55 while t_table = 1.99 with dk = N1 + N2-2 at a significant level &#945- = 0.05. It was concluded that the effectiveness of using the Project Citizen learning model based on E-learning was 71.75% while the effectiveness of using the Constructivism learning model was 66.25%.
