Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of the application of the periodization block model on increasing strength abilities which include maximum strength, power, strength endurance and power endurance. The research method used is an experimental research method using the one group pre-test post-test design. Purposive Sampling was used for sampling as many as 12 samples from UPI female futsal players. Instrument test uses 1) maximum strength : 1 RM test, 2) Power : Standing broad jump, 3) Strength Endurance: Legpress test, 4) Power Endurance : Multi Stage Hurdle Jump. The data processing techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing (paired sample T-test). The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in training outcomes.
So the conclusion that can be drawn is that there is a significant effect of the application of the periodized block model on increasing strength capabilities.
