Abstract

This study reveals the background needs and demands of training that will have an impact on changes in performance in the development and improvement of physical abilities through the application of integrated strength training methods in Complementary Training. This is intended to find out how much impact the application of these varied strength training methods will have when applied to both linear and traditional training periodization models as well as non-linear or non-traditional training models. This study applies an experimental method that is designed in such a way that the health protocol in this pandemic atmosphere is maintained and is safe and comfortable when conducting research activities. The sample that will be used is sports students, totaling 45 people. The number of samples is adjusted to the needs and the results of its availability. The sampling technique is carried out in a probability manner and takes into account the factors of current conditions which will not significantly reduce the meaning and benefits of the research. The recommendation that the researcher wants to convey is the creation of a basic understanding of the application of training methods, training peridoization models, and also understanding the needs and demands of athletes^ achievements for coaches in achieving peak performance at predetermined times in each competition. And, the results of this research will be massively disseminated to all trainers at the city district level and even at the national level, so that new things in an effort to adjust the demands for achievement are guaranteed to be achieved because all programs are designed in a structured, measured, and orderly manner.
