Abstract
The aim of this research and development is to produce a long jump learning model with a game approach for junior school students. This research uses Borg and Gall Research & Development (R&D) methods. The subjects in this research were junior high school students consisting of 30 students for limited trial (small group trials), 50 students for main trial (field testing), and 30 students for model effectiveness tests. Based on the results, In the significance test of influence with SPSS 16, the mean was obtained with the value of 22,392, which shows a difference between pretest and posttest. The t-count result is 26,266 and df = 29, with the significance level of 0.00< 0.05, which means there is a negated influence between before and after the treatment of the long jump learning model with game approach it can be concluded that the long jump learning model with game approach for junior high school students can be developed and applied in long jump learning. There are some advantages of this research product which mostly provide benefits for junior high school students. There are also some limitations in this research that can be improved, and further study could use this research product for a experimental research.
