Abstract

This study aims to research and apply a Neuroscience-based physical education learning model for elementary school students. Through this research, the results of the implementation of the physical education learning model will be obtained through movements that are suitable for the characteristics of 3rd grade students by following the working principle of the brain (neuroscience). The research method used is a quasi-experimental research with data support from documentation, observation, interviews, filling out questionnaires to elementary schools in the East Jakarta area. Data analysis was performed using the ANCOVA (Analysis of Covariance) formula. Broadly speaking, this research is divided into three parts, namely design and lesson study, and implementation. The results of the learning design are in the form of learning tools for one semester using a neuroscience-based physical education learning pillar approach, namely multitasking, modeling, fun and sequences. Neuroscience-based physical education learning tools are disseminated through lesson studies to physical education teachers in two schools in Jakarta. The implementation results show. Based on the TWO WAYS ANCOVA test that has been carried out on the pretest and posttest values of experimental group 1 and experimental group 2, the results of significance/probability are 0.850 and 0.385 or > 0.05, then H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. This means that there is no significant difference in physical education learning outcomes in using neuroscience-based physical education learning models for 3rd grade elementary school students at Laboratory Elementary School in Jakarta
