Abstract
Elementary school physical education teachers often have difficulty finding and using locomotor basic motion teaching materials because there are no technological devices that make it easier for them to access in the process of teaching activities. The android-based locomotor basic motion learning device is a collection of teaching materials consisting of text, images and even videos that are in a single application that aims to make it easier for elementary school physical education teachers and even students to be used in the teaching and learning process on locomotor basic motion material. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of development of android-based locomotor basic motion learning devices for elementary school physical education teachers. This paper uses a quantitative approach with a survey method to 40 physical education teachers at the elementary school level in the Pulogadung sub-district, East Jakarta. This is a preliminary study to carry out research steps in the future with the topic of using android in locomotor basic motion learning devices. Based on a needs analysis, 93.68% of elementary school physical education teachers said it was necessary to develop an android-based locomotor basic motion learning device that would be used in teaching and make it easier for students to learn and utilize the material in their learning. Therefore, the researcher concludes that elementary school physical education teachers need an android-based locomotor basic motion learning device.
