Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the physical exercise method using the ball for increasing VO2max2 max of SSB Bina Remaja soccer players 16 years old. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach, experimental method, and using a pretest and posttest design. The sample in this study is 26 people. Data collection techniques from before and after being treated were carried out using the bleep test instrument. The data analysis was normality test and homogeneity test, then t test (paired sample test) and improvement analysis. The data processing this research using SPSS software version 20. Based on the results of the t test (paired sample test) the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.000 < 0, 05 which means that the physical exercise method using the ball is effective in increasing the vo2max of the SSB Bina Remaja soccer players. Then it was concluded that the physical exercise method using the ball was effective for increasing Vo2max of SSB Bina Remaja soccer players 16 years old with an increase wasb 14.69%.
