Abstract
The game is an activity carried out to be a means of entertainment. In recent years, access to online games, especially for electronic sports (Esports), has become increasingly crowded. After the 2019 covid pandemic, there are more and more events and activities related to esports. The debate on whether electronic sports (e-sports) can be categorized as sports continues to this day. Because for a sports activity there must be several aspects that are met, namely, social, cultural, economic, physiological, and sports philosophy aspects. However, whether electronic sports (e-sports) in online games fulfill these aspects is still a question. The implementation of this research activity is intended to determine the perception of the sports community regarding Esports. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with qualitative data analysis. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and questionnaires.
