Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of athletic kids media in improving basic movement skills in elementary school students in Johar Baru Central Jakarta. Sampling technique by purposive sampling. In this study, the sample of the study was 32 students. The method used in this study is the true experimental method. The research design uses one group pre-test and post-test design. The data collection technique used is a motor ability test for elementary schools which is divided into 4 test items, namely: 1) 4 x 10 meter shutlle-run test, 2) 1-meter distance ball capture throw test with a wall, 3) Positional balance stand stork test and 4) 30-meter sprint test. The results of the motor ability study for agility obtained a calculation of 5,675, hand eye coordination obtained a calculation of 9,802, the balance obtained a calculation of 4,831, the speed obtained a calculation of 2,504 with a ttable of 2,060 for a significant degree of α- = 0.05. The results of this study concluded that athletic kids media can effectively improve basic movement skills in elementary school students in Johar Baru. The results of this study can be used as consideration for PJOK Teachers in Elementary Schools in Johar Baru District to develop learning media with athletic kids in improving the quality of basic movement skills through innovative and creative PJOK learning.
