THE LEVEL OF PARENTAL ATTENTION IN SUPPORTING ARCHERY SPORT ACHIEVEMENTS

Abstract

This study aims to determine the percentage level of parental attention in supporting archery achievement. The research was carried out in June 2022. This data collection was carried out in the Rindam field, East Jakarta using the respective cellphone media. The research method used is descriptive method with survey technique. The instrument of this research is a closed questionnaire made in the form of a google form and distributed to all samples. The number of samples as many as 27 people who are the population of parents of athletes from the focus archery center club. Based on the results of the study on the attention variable with 18 statements consisting of indicators: spontaneous attention, reflective attention, intensive attention, focused attention and radiated attention, the minimum value was 71.00, the maximum value was 97.00, the mean was 83, 67, the mean is 85.00, the most frequent value is 85.00 and the standard deviation is 7.359, and the frequency distribution results in the high category 25.9%, in the medium category 51.8% and in the low category 22.2%. So it can be concluded that the percentage of parental attention in supporting archery achievement is in the moderate category, namely 51.8%.
