Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the level of physical fitness of PJOK teachers in Taman Sari, West Jakarta. Sampling technique was taken by incidental sampling, and there was 30 PJOK teachers. The method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative method. Data on the level of physical fitness of PJOK teachers are taken by tests and measurements using the Harvard Step Test instrument. The results of the PJOK Teacher Physical Fitness Test are: a) excellent categories as many as 12 or with a percentage of 40%. b) good categories of 12 with a percentage of 40%. c) enough categories of 3 with a percentage amount of 10%. d) poor category 1 with a percentage of 3.33%. d) the category of very poor is less than 2 with a total percentage of 6.67%. The results of this study concluded that the level of physical fitness of PJOK teachers in Taman Sari District, West Jakarta, on average, was in the good category. The physical fitness level of PJOK teachers must be maintained and maintained in order to indirectly make a positive contribution in improving the quality of physical education learning in schools
