LEVELS OF ANXIETY AND SOCIAL SUPPORT IN FORTIUS UNJ VOLLEYBALL ATHLETES

Abstract

This study aims to find out the level of anxiety and social support in fortius unj volleyball athletes. Data collection was carried out in January 2021. The research method used in this study is descriptive, with survey techniques. The target or subject in this research is the Fortius UNJ Volleyball athlete. The instrument used in this study was a Questionnaire used to measure the level of anxiety and social support in fortius unj volleyball athletes. The samples in this study were taken with the total sampling technique of 54 people with the category of men of the same age of 28 men and women are 26 people. Instruments in the form of questionnaires are prepared with stages: (1) reviewing theories related to the variables studied- (2) compile indicators- (3) the expected competence of the variables- (4) drawing up the grid- (5) preparation of question items- (6) measuring scale. Based on the data, the anxiety level of male athletes in the moderate category tends to be high. The anxiety level of female athletes in the medium category tends to be high. The social support of men^s athletes is moderately likely to be low. and the social support of female athletes is in the moderate category tending to be low.
