CUSTOMER VALUE DEVELOPMENT ANALYSIS BASED ON SHARIA PRINCIPLES IN HALAL TOURISM: A CASE STUDY OF SUNAN AMPEL RELIGIOUS TOURISM SURABAYA Universitas Airlangga Abstract This study aims to determine the strategy of developing customer value with a case study in Sunan Ampel^s halal tourism in Surabaya. The method used is descriptive-qualitative where the author will describe and analyze the strategy. Data collection methods are observation and documentation. This research is motivated by the condition of Sunan Ampel^s halal tourism, which is one of the muslim tourist destinations in Indonesia. This halal tourism must to be developed so as not to reduce the number of visitors. The result of this study is Sunan Ampel^s halal tourism can be developed using sharia principles by establishing customer emotional value, social value, performance value, and price/value of money.
